Pump technology
For the drive system of pumps, such as for water supply in the chemical industry, synchronous and asynchronous electric machines are used, which then are cooled with an air / water heat exchanger. The closed circuit coolers are inserted into housings and fixed on the machine in most cases.
Transformers
The transformation power units in transformers are also applied in the industry sector. In transformation plants for example GEA closed circuit coolers or recirculation coolers and a radial fan unit are used for cooling of the circulating air in transformers.
The process of cooling is simple: The waste heat is led through the closed circuit cooler and exhausted into the ambient air.
